The Cool John (born Amissah Kwadwo John) was born and bred in Cape Coast, Ghana and spent most of his childhood reading about and observing the miracles, struggles and hustles of those around him. He now spends his days recollecting and reimagining the events of his not-so-distant past and occasionally narrating the life and experiences of fictional characters his extremely imaginative mind creates. He gives great advice sometimes too. You’ll see that as you go through the pieces here.
This is my first blog though; and my first attempt at writing for an audience other than my English tutor or my Academic and Communication Skills lecturer. I hope you like it. If by some miracle you like my work so much so that you decide to give me or get me a gig, you can always send me an email. I leave you with the very motivating words of a very wise man; words so full of wisdom and encouragement that everytime I have wanted to quit something I was doing because it was difficult, I just recite these words, and it gives me the strength to carry on. I hope they have the same effect on you.
